High-risk Assesment

The ATBC site in Orange County, California was one of the first breast centers, and is still one of the few, to offer a comprehensive High-Risk Assessment program. Through it, we uncover the factors, such as age, hormone use, and family history that put a woman at higher risk for breast cancer.

Then we use the information to develop a personalized screening and prevention plan for her, which we monitor closely. Advanced imaging technologies, genetic testing, and lifestyle recommendations may all be part of this plan. We can even include other female family members, making sure they are all "up to speed" in their understanding, screening, and preventive measures.

Whether a woman has no current breast problem or has been diagnosed with cancer, the High-Risk Assessment program gives a woman the best possible way to manage her breast cancer risk.
